Our Story
JCI Madurai is proud to contribute to the rich legacy of JCI India, the second-largest member nation of JCI, active since 1949. As part of Zone 29, we collaborate with other local organizations to amplify our impact across Tamil Nadu. Founded with a vision to empower young leaders, this vibrant community of active citizens aged 18-40 has been driving positive change in Madurai through impactful projects in education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability.

JCI Madurai, one of India’s oldest chapters with a proud 64-year legacy, is thrilled to announce the 49th Annual Arts and Crafts Competition for school students, in collaboration with Brainy Bobs. This iconic event, a cornerstone of JCI Madurai’s public relations initiatives, will take place on August 15, 2025, in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Renowned for fostering creativity and talent among young minds, the competition attracts over 3,000 students annually, offering free entry to ensure inclusivity.
